International Journal of Designing and Engineering with Smart and Ubiquitous Technologies

IJ-DESUT targets three main objectives:
  1. to support the transformation and integration of smart and ubiquitous technologies to systems and services,
  2. to contribute to the theoretical, methodological and practical advancement of social cyber-physical systems, and
  3. to create a new forum for researchers who are interested in integrating, and synthesizing hardware, software and cyber technologies towards (radical) innovation.

This on-line journal will follow the principles of Gold Open Access Publishing (GOAP) (see Wikipedia.s article on Open Access for further information).

Journal DESUT will be connected to the TMCE Symposia, while it also intends to accept original articles that have not been presented as symposium papers. The best papers published in the Proceedings of a TMCE Symposium will be considered for republication by the Program Committee. Authors will be asked to extend their papers to fully-fledged archiving journal articles. Supposed that peer review process concludes with a positive result, these selected papers will be accepted FREE OF CHARGE for publication in Journal DESUT. Authors of non-TMCE papers will be requested to pay APF.
